Ashley Grace played on the Summerville Miracle League this past season. They ended the year with a Christmas party sponsored by Stokes Honda. As usual, Stokes Honda really took care of these kids! Ashley Grace along with many other children received a check to use towards therapy, equipment, etc. We are very grateful to Stokes Honda and the Summerville Miracle League!

The Ronald McDonald House...right in the middle of downtown Baltimore

The first floor has a living room area...

playroom with lots of toys....

our room is on the 2nd floor....single bed and a double bed...we are enjoying the flat screen tv!

an open area downstairs with a grand piano...would like to get my hands on that one day!!

the kitchen on our floor...usually volunteers from churches, restaurants, etc fix dinner every night and sometimes for breakfast.

It is not home but we are very thankful! We stay about 15 minutes from Kennedy Krieger (Johns Hopkins)...which is a very interesting drive!

Time for a new AFO

Ashley Grace keeps growing and growing! Today she had to be fitted for another AFO.

Mr David and Ms Jennifer discussed which brace would be best for her. For those of you that don't know Ashley Grace, she is very unique and certainly one of a kind.

Although Ashley Grace has been through this several times, today was the first time she has been old enough to pick out the design that displays on the back of the leg brace. I was getting nervous at first as she kept looking at the pirates and dinasours but she came through finally deciding on a ladybug.

Now it is time to make a mold of her foot...

Such the little helper...you can see her little hand trying to help hold the hose.

Mr David takes the mold back to his office and uses that to make a custom AFO for Ashley Grace. It will be ready for her next week!

Trip to the aquarium

So, we went to the aquarium to see the penguins that had just arrived...

However, Ashley Grace was more interested in another one of God's creatures...

and NOT one of my favorites!!

She even tried to have a conversation with him!

E-Stim Therapy

Ashley Grace has been doing so well with the E-Stim therapy. She does it at the house 4-5 times a week. Please pray for improved motor function!

Today was the Kid's Festival at our church. Ashley Grace spent time with her buddies Ms Erin and Ms Lauren. She rode on a hay ride, pony and was probably given candy...behind my back! =)
